My first visit to Mystic Seaport was in 1987, as a graduate student. For nearly 25 years I’ve been bringing groups of relatives, friends, and students (undergraduate and graduate) to the Mystic Seaport Museum. The Mystic Seaport Museum is an unparalleled teaching facility with extraordinary resources; a priceless institution for the preservation of American maritime history.
